Old sports fields are not waste – they are economic assets

What information should I send for a quotation?

Start with the location, sport, approximate dimensions and photographs of the existing surface. Tell us whether this is a new facility or a refurbishment, expected usage and your target opening date. For machinery enquiries, include the surface type, area and maintenance tasks.

Which tennis surface should I choose?

No single surface suits every facility. Player needs, usage, indoor or outdoor conditions, maintenance resources and budget all matter. Compare clay, artificial clay, synthetic and acrylic options by ongoing operation and maintenance needs, not just installation cost.

How are installation time and opening date determined?

The programme considers foundation preparation, material supply, scope and weather. Some surfaces have manufacturer-defined application and waiting conditions. The opening date is agreed within the project plan rather than assumed to be identical for every installation.

How often should artificial turf be maintained?

Weekly light cleaning plus periodic deep maintenance depending on usage.

Should I choose a ride-on or walk-behind mower?

Area is not the only factor. Access routes, turning space, ground conditions, cutting requirements and operator workflow also matter. Check working width and cutting range in official specifications. Share your layout and requirements to narrow down the options.
